Sign With Me Workshop
This is a two-hour focused workshop created for parents/caregivers. Little ones from “baby in the belly” to toddler age are welcome. Attention is given to the following: when and how to incorporate signs while communicating with infants/toddlers for optimal benefit, learning and practicing more than 50 basic signs, and strategies for introducing beginning words, snack/mealtime signs, and bedtime signs through daily routines, songs, play, and fun activities. Handouts with workshop notes, list of signs, songs, and resources included. The recommended text used is "SIGN with your BABY," by W. Joseph Garcia. It is available at most bookstores or can be ordered through the Sign With Me Shop Online. It will be available for purchase at the workshop.

Sign With Me Weekly Series
This is a weekly series, meeting for one hour each week, designed for parents/caregivers and little ones from “baby in the belly” to toddler age are welcome. In-depth attention is given to the following: when and how to introduce sign language to enhance your child’s communication, learning and practicing basic signs in a fun and interactive manner, support with choosing the signs your family will focus on, and strategies for incorporating signs around daily routines, snack/mealtime, bath/body, play, diaper changing, clothes/dressing, animals, family, and much more. Weekly handouts with class notes, list of signs, songs, games, books, and resources included. “MY SIGNS” Journal and Activity Book also included. Sing, Play and Sign With Me
This is a weekly playgroup, meeting for one hour each week, designed for parents/caregivers and little ones who have already taken an introductory class, workshop, or have previous sign language experience. This playgroup is a fun way to reinforce and introduce signs. You and your little one will learn over 50 signs through songs, games, books, and interactive play. The recommended CD/Book compilation is “Pick Me Up!” by Northlight Communications. It can be ordered through the Sign With Me Shop Online. It will be available for purchase at the playgroup.

Childcare Center Workshop
This is a two-hour workshop developed especially for childcare environments. Attention is given to the following: benefits of incorporating American Sign Language (ASL) into existing curricula, when and how to introduce signs while communicating with infants/toddlers for optimal benefit, current research regarding signing with hearing infants/toddlers, learning and practicing basic signs through daily routines, songs, play, books, and fun activities, and how to facilitate childcare center-to-home consistency with the use of sign language. Handouts with workshop notes, list of signs, songs, and resources included.
